We hiked further than the 0.7 mile indicated on the signage, and ended up scooting and scrambling up the most interesting narrow and smooth chutes. We heard the song of the elusive canyon wren, too. We actually slept very well on the mattress. I could see this being a good place in your 20s for SXSW. Not as nice if you’re in your 30s/40s on a romantic getaway, but it worked.
