Big Coppitt Key Vacations from $962

We had a splendid stay at the Ibis Resort. The staff were helpful, and knowledgeable. The entertainment of the birds was great. Temp of room was easy to maintain. The breakfast was the best in the Keys where we stayed. I rented a scooter which was both fun and easy to kick around town on. everything was convenient to find, and the small private beach area was quiet in the mornings.

Room was nice and close to everything. Beware that the roosters do crow in the early hours. I got used to it, but it did startle me the first night. Do not let this deter your stay because the chickens are part of the ambiance.

Very nice place to stay while in Key West

The air conditioning was broken and when we asked for a discount on the room they said they couldn't because we booked it through Expedia, but did discount the daily resort fee and parking. They gave us temporary air conditioning units but the sliding door was unhinged and hurt my hand opening it because it was disconnected. The temp air conditioning unit was super janky, loud and didn't cover the living space. Really disappointed with their customer service. Also, the water pressure in the shower is so low it's hard to get the conditioner out of your hair. And the restaurant staff all seemed to be having a bad day. The good stuff...views were amazing. Vibe is very calm and peaceful. The staff at the tiki hut with the kayaks and paddle boards were the best! Paddle boarding in the bay was super fun. The beds were cozy and the bath robes were the most comfortable we've ever worn. Overall okay due to beautiful location but wouldn't recommend based on attitude of customer service.
