Our room was very clean. The hotel is dated, so some things are definitely not fancy. The hallway was dark and seemed older. However, our room was large and updated, and we slept well. We skipped breakfast, which was very basic. I don't think they have a pool or hot tub, but that was not on our agenda anyway, so we were happy with our stay.

Our room was immaculate! The bed was very comfotable and i actually used their pillow as it was more comfortable then the one i brought. We didnt have time for the breakfast but it looked good. This will be our go-too hotel when we stay in Laurel!

As in many of the other reviews, we found the front desk clerk to be very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hallway was a bit dark and had a damp smell. Breakfast was a do it yourself type of breakfast and it was fine. For the price, I thought it was a good value. I’d stay here again.

Locomotive Inn staff were really nice, and went above and beyond expectations. It was a really great hotel for a good price, and the most convenient place I’ve stayed on a long trip. They even refunded my booking when I selected the wrong dates, when the mistake was totally my fault. Great coffee and hot breakfast in the morning was a pleasant surprise too!

On an extended road trip with multiple stays in relatively inexpensive motels, the Locomotive Inn stood out. It seemed to be recently renovated so everything was spotless and everything worked the way it should. Plus an astonishing Elvis memorabilia collection in the lobby! Highly recommended.

At check-in, the desk clerk, Sharon was very helpful. I had an silly request and she made sure my room was at ground level and had a parking spot right outside my window so that I could keep an eye on my new motorcycle.
