“We really enjoyed our stay. Be sure to follow the written instructions. We originally put the address provided into google maps and it took us to a different location. After we backtracked and followed the written directions, we arrived! The driveway was washed out in spots, which made traversing in our car a bit difficult. We took it slow and steady and made it. “Our family (with 2 kids 9 & 11) had a great stay in Turtle Rock. The pool was great and stocked with pool floats. The cabin was clean and well-appointed with lots of room for our family (murphy bed was comfortable) and a charcoal grill on the patio. Also nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. It was close to town for quick access to groceries, coffee, and restaurants. Not far from Johnson's Shut-Ins, Elephant Rocks, Black River float trips, and an old time candy shop/soda fountain in……

“Loved the location where the cabins are on the other side of the lake. Beautiful view of lake, very peaceful! The only drawback for us (3 senior ladies) there was no swimming access even though there should have been! You can only swim at the lodges designated swim. A roped off small area with lifeguard. We would rather swim across from our location. The cabin was nice and clean but bunk beds weren’t the best for older ladies. We dealt though! Loved the porch and serenity! ”

“The location of the cabin was fantastic! It’s close to some great hiking and the privacy, peace, and quiet were phenomenal. It was so nice sitting on the deck, listening to the birds—very zen. Also loved watching the turtles on the property; had to herd them off the road on our return to the cabin one time, lol! Really good restaurants nearby where you definitely get a great meal for your dollar. The cabin was clean and the grill was the best one we’ve ever used at any house we’ve rented—clean……
