Everyone was so helpful, friendly, and kind. Our room was very clean and there were nice touches for our dog as well as clear directions on where we could (and couldn't) take her, which was helpful. We loved our stay and wish we were able to stay longer!

Staff was very helpful but the property is tired. We had to get staff help to get the TV to work. The shower didn't work. No coffee in the room. It didn't meet my standards for comfort while traveling.

I am grateful that someone saved this beautiful home and set it up to be a bed and breakfast. The place is charming. However, it’s not a true Bed and Breakfast as advertised on its official website. There’s no one to greet you, no warm greetings from a host or common gathering place for breakfast with others. Rather, you are given a code to enter the place and your room — and then you’re on your own. Some folks may prefer this — but we were expecting something more traditional. The place has nice amenities. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the room was clean. One of the window shades and the soap dispenser didn’t work, however. (We used the shower gel in the shower.) We didn’t feel like calling someone off-site to remedy the situation (It’s not like calling the front desk for easy solutions.). There is a kitchen where you can get coffee, tea. Cereal, and snacks 24/7. As mentioned, however, there is no breakfast in the mansion. You are given a coupon to cross a major street to buy a food item and beverage. I will say that The Breakfast Club breakfast was very very good. So it’s a beautiful space with a great food place across the street — but it’s not a B&B. Again, I understand the attraction of the no contact hotel rooms to some. We were just expecting something like a more traditional B&B.
