We had a delightful time staying here. Personally, I like staying near the historic city center in a historic building. There was no air conditioning, but with windows open we were fine despite a heat wave while we were there. Staff was very kind, helping us plan our activities while in Angers. I hope to have the opportunity to stay there again.

Our hosts were incredibly nice, and very kind as I stumbled with my broken French. The property is absolutely gorgeous. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We arrived late and the drive felt like we would never get there. But when we arrived the greetings were over accommodating and fixed us a glass of wine and a light dinner. Very unexpected. Our room was lovely and decorated very French! The room was clean the breakfast was great!
The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful.

This is an excellent historical property. It has been painstakingly restored and is both comfortable and elegant. We really enjoyed our time here, the bed was one of his not the most comfortable that we have slept on in the two months that we've been on the road. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is excellent but a bit pricey.

The Chateau is a treasure, but the staff is even more of a treasure. Marine helped us with several things including translating an email from French to English ( we are weak in the French) , explaining the local restaurants and policies and even making a phone call for me since my phone was not able to make the call, to get my questions answered about a (French) future event . She was so patient and helpful . I very much appreciated her time and effort for us. Should we return to the area,...
