This rustic modern cabin is located just minutes from downtown Blowing Rock, sitting at the foot of Grandfather Mountain, just three minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway and seven minutes from downtown Blowing Rock with 24 hour check-in.

This pristine custom built craftsman home features three bedrooms and a sleeping loft built in November of 2018 and designed by our family.

Follow the trail to Treetop Park, a wonderful place for a camp-out, or explore Chimney Park. Miles of trails provide hikers, bikers and walkers with lots of chances to get out and enjoy the fresh mountain air. This scenic byway stretches nearly 500 miles through North Carolina and Virginia and encompasses both prehistoric and early European settlements.

The Sweet Grass community is located off the historic Blue Ridge Parkway, just north of the Linn Cove Viaduct and visitor center.

Renters will enjoy Amenities such as: a hot tub, free parking, free WiFi, cable TV, gas fire place, coffee maker, a full kitchen, washing machine and dryer and a toiletry bag including shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Need to get work done? No problem. We have a desk and chair upstairs in the loft as well as a workstation downstairs.

Great escape close to Blowing Rock

Very nice home in a gated community; close to Blowing Rock. The home was very clean and comfortable. The community had nice walking paths and a great play area for kids and pets.

Magical Mountain Get Away

The house and lake-front setting are absolutely beautiful. The house is very tastefully decorated, furnished and well-equipped. The property offers access to trails along some of the most gorgeous rhododendron-lined mountain streams imaginable. Plus - it snowed while we were there! We loved it and will be back!

Christmas in Blowing Rock

Beautiful Home in Perfect Location

We stayed for the weekend in October 2023 when our kids were participating in a cross country meet in Boone. Blowing Rock is a great little town with plenty to do. The home is gorgeous, private, and well built. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Perfect mountain getaway
