“The hotel is clean and the staff are great, but the pictures posted of the location must be from several years ago. The pool and hot tub are run down and there was only one lounge chair (old but still working) and a few plastic lawn chairs and tables around the pool. The hot tub was full of sand and was not working and the pool had a garden hose running into it each day to top the water up. Its only about a kilometer to the beach and there are several great restaurants nearby. I think the……

“We had a lovely stay at this charming Colonial style beachfront hotel. A highlight was also the charming restaurant which had many vegetarian and vegan options which can be hard to find in this region. Our room was spacious as well aa the terrace with lovely waterfront views. Highly recommend to anyone considering this hotel.”

“Sábanas sucias, no hay con que taparse, las ventanas no se pueden cerrar y entra todo el ruido, viento y luz en la noche. En la noche ingresan personas que no son huéspedes y ponen música que no deja dormir. En la noche apesta a marihuana. Poco parqueo, faltan divisiones en los balcones. Mi vecino se había robado una camisa mía y en la noche se fue a sentar de mi lado haciendo ruido. ”

“This is our second stay at Hacienda Cucuyo. It is such a hidden gem overlooking Samaná Bay. It has a limited occupancy which makes it perfect for a retreat style stay. It is quiet, comfortable, and very connected experience. Daniela is an absolutely terrific hostess! She welcomed us warmly and is the perfect host as is Victor and the rest of the staff. Our only complaint was the tiny ants that showed up in our luggage and bed on the first night do to our ground level apartment and the rain the……

“The hotel was ok”

“No water in the toilet l ask for fixing the problem several hours after I came back and nobody did nothing. I paid the hotel with my credit card through Expedia, when I arrived to checking they asked me to pay in cash, they didn’t accept credit card.”

“El hotel esta localizado en un lugar muy bonito y la vista es increible, tiene detalles con la limpieza y el desayuno incluido es poco variado y sirven muy poco pero de ahi en fuera el personal es demasiado atento y te hacen sentir muy VIP, la zona de bar y alberca son geniales y pasas un rato muy divertido con los demas huespedes aunque no los conozcas. ¿Si volveria? Claro que si ”
