Very disappointed with Scandic Bodø. Firstly we should have been made aware of the roadworks right outside therefore having to be dropped by taxi with luggage some way away. We would have changed to the superior Scandic down the road. Staff were pleasant without being overly helpful. Dining room was being renovated and breakfast moved to conference rooms on 4th floor, not very inviting. Food ok but not up to standard of previous two Scandic hotels used recently. No bar or nice seating area. Cleanliness and housekeeping very poor. Two trollies full of dirty linen remained in corridor of fourth floor near lift the whole three days we were there. Not a nice greeting on exiting the lift! Corridor not hoovered once. Got the impression they must have been short of housekeeping staff. Superior room had stained chairs, one thin pillow each, only superior thing about it was a view! Would not stay again as not up to 3 stars.
