Clean, nice, but not supporting hot water for a family of four.
The apartment is clean, and nice looking. Clean towels, clean beds, kitchen is equipped with basic things needed. The appartement can support 4 people for sleeping but it is not supporting hot water for a family of 4. We just wanted to take shower so we feel fresh for our day. The hot water only would last for one person each day. Five minutes shower would finish the hot water. then you have to wait 3 hours for water to get hot again. The host was nice but she did not speak English, or French as it was advertised. For these two reasons, especially for the hot water problem I give two starts.

Budget friendly in central Bologna
An ideal location just a 10-15 minute walk to either Piazza Maggiore in the town centre or to the main train station. We wanted to explore northeastern Italy and chose Bologna for a long-term stay (48 nights) because it's a hip university city with lots of galleries, museums, bars, cafes, and restaurants. You'll never get bored! Bologna's train station also happens to be a main hub in which to explore other cities in the area efficiently and cost effectively. We were able to explore 9 cities all within about 1/2 hour to 1 hr 20 mins away with ease; from Parma to Ravenna and Verona to Florence. When we arrived at Elisa's apartment, we were very happy that it was as represented in the pictures – it was neat, clean and tidy and it was in a decent part of town (never felt security was an issue). As this was a Self-Catering apartment, there was enough dish detergent, soap and toilet paper to get us started until we purchased our own. The most important thing for us was laundry. There was a washer (no dryer but we just used the drying rack which was available in the apartment so it was not even a problem). The kitchen had all the utensils, pots/pans available, a stove/oven, a good sized fridge and a dishwasher. If cooking is super important, then bring your own S&P and spices - we bought what we needed because we wanted to do our own regional cooking anyway - again not a problem for us at all. There is a large Pam grocery store right around the corner at Marconi and Reno where you can get anything you need (including a good selection of wine etc.) and they're open every day until 22:00 hrs. During our stay we experienced a little bit of snow and negative temperatures (it was winter after all...) but heat was never an issue in the apartment. Elisa was friendly and concerned about our stay (and always available if we required). We were very happy with this apartment. It was the right budget friendly apartment in a good location for us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it.

Elisa welcomed us as arranged and showed us the apartment. It is not in the prettiest district, but is only a 15 - 20 minute walk to the tourist sites. The apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped. There is a laundry room and plenty of wardrobe space. Air conditioning works well and there is a lift. (footnote: the cutlery is due for renewal)

Bologna flat very convenient and enjoyble
This flat was conveniently situated for our purposes, a 15-minute walk to centro and 10 or 12 minutes to Stazione Centrale. The furnishings are relatively new and in excellent condition, and the flat was spotlessly clean. Three separate air-conditioning units kept us comfortable throughout the apartment in hot July weather. Elisa, the owner, was very attentive and helpful. When the internet went out, she worked on the problem right away and resolved it. As a result of a water line fault, water was not available to the entire neighborhood for about 20 hours, but she investigated as soon as we reported the problem to her and then made sure that we had all of the necessary information to cope with it, as well as arranging for us to have plastic bags of water for essential use. We would definitely stay again in this flat.

Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento per 3 notti insieme a 3 amici, devo dire che la casa è davvero ben tenuta ed è fornita di tutto ciò di cui si può avere bisogno. Collocata in una zona molto comoda per raggiungere il centro e con un paio di supermercati nelle vicinanze. La proprietà è molto gentile e disponibile, ci hanno aiutato a vivere la nostra vacanza al meglio. Consiglio per chi deve soggiornare a Bologna

L'appartamento è molto pensato, c'è proprio tutto: dagli asciugamani ai detersivi...asciugacapelli, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, ferro da stiro...proprio tutto! La posizione è ottima, ci vogliono 10 minuti e sei in centro, però la zona molto tranquilla. Il grande supermercato è vicino. La padrona di casa è molto amichevole e carina. Era un piacere di stare da lei!
