MORE INFO & FAQs
You can explore on foot, bike or UTV from the cabin but most destinations will require travel by car.

There is limited cell service at the cabin but you can make calls once connected to wifi.

A local contact is available for any questions or issues.

We would love for you to bring your furry family members to the cabin! Please note that any dog that accompanies you must stay within the property boundaries. When not in the gated backyard, that may mean certain dogs may need to be on a leash. Please pick up all dog poop before departing. Unattended dogs must be kenneled while inside the cabin. They are not to be left in the fenced yard while guests are not around.

The owners DO NOT live on-site. You can expect privacy.

There is no A/C but the cabin stays plenty cool even in the hot summer temps. We recommend cooling the cabin off at night by opening the windows and using the provided fan to pull in cool air. In the morning we recommend shutting the windows as the temperatures warm up again and pulling blinds on South and West side of cabin. That keeps it nice and comfortable all day long.

What is privacy like at the cabin? While the property is only 100' wide, it's surrounded by seasonal properties that are infrequently occupied, it has heavy trees on the property lines as this is in a forest and the nearest home is not on the river but by the road, so despite only being an acre lot it feels extremely private. Other homes are visible from across the river but doesn't intrude on privacy.

Can you hear the train from this cabin? This is one of the only properties along the Moyie River NOT near a train crossing where trains are required to blow their horns, day and night. Many other vacation rentals are within a few hundred feet of a train crossing.

Great Little Get-Away
Nice weekend place for us, as we live in N Idaho. Easy to get to and some nice places to hike very close by. Fall colors still in their first weeks. Very quiet. Just what we were looking for.

Peace & Quiet with Amenities
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this quiet cabin nestled in the woods! The sound of the Moyie River added to the peaceful atmosphere of the cabin. The backyard is very large and perfect for any doggo companion! Our doggo enjoyed catching some rays on the deck and the occasional sighting of a squirrel. Inside, the cabin is spacious but cozy. The remodel is really something! The kitchen was very clean and was well stocked with dishes, pans, pots and utensils (although it could use a few more spatulas or large cooking spoons). The Traeger was an added bonus! The bedrooms are spacious and can accommodate several guests. The blackout curtains are also nice for the mornings when you want a little extra shuteye. The host was very responsive to our questions, which was much appreciated. The cabin was easy to find and is located close to several fishing spots. We look forward to staying at this cabin again in the future!

Traeger
This is the second time we have stayed! We love it here and will definitely come again! Chad was great with any questions we had. The only issue we had was the traeger didn’t want to work. We suspect it’s because it gets wet outside with no cover.

Great Stay
My group of 6 greatly enjoyed the cabin. The cabin had a well outfitted kitchen for all our needs and lots of room for our group. The fenced yard was great for us to have our dogs out with us without worrying too much about them or having to keep them tethered to keep them close. Host was easily reachable and responsive when we had questions.
