The Parkway is home to a plethora of hiking trails for hikers of all skill levels. Appalachian Ski Mountain has multiple runs and ice skating, and is less than six miles from the home. Downtown Blowing Rock is ten minutes away and is perfect for strolling. It features many local shopping and dining options. The park has multiple playgrounds and basketball and tennis courts. Tweetsie Railroad and Mystery Hill are fun for the whole family, and are less than ten minutes from the chalet. The town of Boone is fifteen minutes down the road and provides additional shopping, dining, breweries, playgrounds, and the local farmers market.

Blue View Chalet is a two bedroom home with an additional sleeping area in the loft. The main floor master bedroom has a king bed, TV, and attached private ensuite with a step-in shower. The second bedroom on the main floor has a king bed, TV, and Jack-N-Jill bathroom. The loft can sleep four guests in two queen beds. The loft is the prefect place for the kids to hang out and play on the Pong Pong multi-game arcade game.

Additional amenities include Wifi, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer and dryer. The living room has a sleeper sofa for two additional guests. Up to two dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. The gravel driveway is level with parking for three vehicles. The covered entry is accessed via 2 steps making for easy loading and unloading. AWD or 4WD is recommended for winter travelers.
