The home was absolutely perfect and easily the most well stocked VRBO we have ever stayed at. We do make annual visits to the area and will be staying there again. The hosts were incredibly communicative and the property was easy to find and check in to.

What a great stay! We so enjoyed our time and took advantage of it to rest physically and mentally. Most of our time was spent on the porch listening to the creek and watching the birds. Perfect retreat!

Fantastic location. Very clean house with comfortable furniture and a nice porch. We had an internet outage and the owner went out of his way to get things up and running for us even when we told him it wasn’t that big of a deal. There is a nice charcoal grill on the back deck also. Highly recommend.

A great place to stay, we gave it a 5 cause it deserved a five. We had everything we needed to cook

We would stay at this spotless place anyway, so much beauty around the house and outside was nice. You cannot go wrong if u rent this two bedroom home. We enjoyed this home and will be back when the dates r open again

Fantastic Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jimmy and Jenine’s home. The hosts were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The home was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. The home is cozy and beautifully decorated. It is located perfectly between West Jefferson and Boone. We hope to stay here again when we visit the area in the future.

It was nicely furnished and equipped with little extras which was very convenient. Very clean and private. Nice views. It's a little remote but only a 15 minutes drive to WJ.

A Perfect Stay

The house was perfect and even better than expected. It has wonderful furniture and appears to be professionally decorated. During our stay we cooked nice meals, stayed up late talking in the comfortable living room, and had coffee on the porch each morning. The driveway was a little tricky to find and it's very steep so I would recommend arriving before dark. I will definitely book this home again.

No Mosquitos

We attended a wedding at The Barn on New River. Venue owner told us that there are virtually no mosquitos around the New River. Great place for all outdoor activities. Loved it.

Wonderful place to stay

The place is better than the pictures show. Extremely clean! Super easy check in. Directions were accurate. The hosts made everything extremely easy! Close to everything but secluded enough for relaxation,. Will definitely be back!

Ashe County Mountain Home

This home is immaculately taken care of. The grounds are beautiful, and the decor is well done. The owner Jimmy and Jenine are very special and caring people. They are always concerned that you have everything you need. Everything is absolutely amazing.

Wonderful mountain getaway

I came to the area for my birthday with my son and partner. My maternal grandmother was born in West Jefferson and I wanted to explore. This cabin was perfect. It was about 15 or 20 minutes to town but the drive was beautiful. The cabin is nicely furnished and very comfortable. I loved sitting on the deck. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area.

Absolutely beautiful! No need to over pack like we did. Washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.

Great experience checking in/out. Beautiful property inside and outside. Everything you need if you want to cook. Very spacious. Nothing even remotely negative about this rental. Definitely an A+++++++ experience!

Wonderful

The home had everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Loved sitting on porches and listening to nature. Close to Blowing Rock and if you haven’t been to West Jefferson, it is a must! Ashe County Cheese has some great cheeses plus jams and jellies. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything as presented & more. Clean beyond compare. So well equiped and loved the porch and patio. Good as respite! And central spot to enjoy Ashe County.
