Bathroom was very dated and dirty. Path to our walk up with luggage was dirt/rocks. Water area was not a pretty view. Based on ratings was disappointed. However, staff were very nice, breakfast was good, and pool looked nice even though we didn’t use it.

This place was fantastic for me and my family. I highly suggest the tiki masala from the restaurant the best I’ve ever had. I believe a family helps run this property and I will have to say they were the most accommodating people I’ve ever had at any resort I’ve never been to including high-end five-star resorts. I highly suggest staying at this property and I will be back next year. Thank you again for your hospitality.

Clean room, delicious breakfast and beautiful views. They have a restaurant on the grounds which overlooks the bay. Although we did not not dine there we did have some outstanding cocktails! They also had entertainment which was a surprise to us and we danced all night long!

The rooms were clean. However, if you're looking for something more than a room I don't recommend this hotel for your stay. It's off beaten path which is ok if there are enough amenities on site to fill the gap. This hotel does not offer much and I did not like the location. The staff was pleasant. I tried to cancel the 2nd nite but even though they were booked solid and could have easily filled out room they would not let us out of the 2nd nite. I was very disappointed.

The property is great but doesn’t have good curb appeal went you drive in looks like A motel and need landscaping. Grass is all burnt out but back is beautiful great pool, Beautiful views, and the rooms are very nice. The only draw back is checkout time. Is 10:00 it’s early when you can’t check in till 4:00. We enjoyed our stay we had three rooms girls trip. Breakfast was included and was good.

Three lights didn't work in the room, and my husband had to teach the staff how to fix them so they did. We put out a sign indicating we wanted our room cleaned, which they did not do. Only when we complained did they come up and remove the dirty towels and trash, no bed made. For over $300 a night, I'd say we could have done waaay better.

Staff were good during check in. Easy and informative. The room was clean and spacious with a large deck and ocean view. We had complimentary buffet breakfast, which was very good with lots of food choices. The grounds and buildings could use some maintenance, due to peeling paint and overgrown landscaping. Pool area was clean with a heated pool. Onsite restaurant was limited on food choices. Otherwise this was a very good place to stay as a resort in a quiet beautiful location.

I appreciate the stay here. The view was beautiful and they're plenty of things to do while on property. The included breakfast was an A+. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely book a stay here again. Note: It's better to book through the hotel, because Expedia doesn't include the 30 dollar fee for each additional person after 2, even if room sleeps 4.

We stayed at Smuggler's Cove Inn from July 16-19 and had a wonderful experience. There were two adults in our party, and our room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony and a beautiful ocean view. The property offers several great amenities. We used the pool once and found it clean and perfectly maintained. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which was excellent. They accommodated my special request without any issues, and the food and service were both outstanding. The breakfast buffet was generous and well-stocked, with attentive service each morning. One of our favorite experiences was taking out the kayaks. We used two kayaks and life jackets and had a fantastic outing. The process was incredibly easy, and we appreciated not having to go through a complicated equipment checkout procedure. The property map provided at check-in was also helpful, and beach towels were available upon request. The only surprise was that our room was not fully cleaned during our stay. Housekeeping did stop by once to empty the trash and provide fresh towels, which was appreciated. Since the bed and bathroom remained in good shape, this wasn't a major issue for us. If you're looking for a property that feels brand new and ultra-modern, this may not be the place for you. Smuggler's Cove Inn has more of a quirky, unique character, which is exactly what we loved about it. The charm, views, amenities, and friendly service made for a very enjoyable stay, and we would happily return.
