Went to the resort for honeymoon that I've waited for a year after the wedding. It was great! Staff was nice and friendly and welcome gift was awesome including huge fresh coconut.
Room was great Except a few minor problems like one of the sliding doors to the bathroom was difficult to be moved and the other one was too flimsy.
Also, A/C was good ONLY in the room as there were open windows with a screen in toilette & shower room so bathroom/sliding doors had to be closed all the time. Bathroom will be moist and damp due to this.
Food was great! I heard complaints about food but personally it was way higher than my expectation. Seafood and entertainment were amazing.
Location was perfect (if you like a quiet location and like to snorkel). If you Canoe for 5 minutes around the island, you can find the snorkel hotspot right away. Or you can walk or snorkel there.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in an OWB with a lagoon view. Our bungalow was spacious with a good sized bedroom, lounge and bathroom. We loved the look-out into the lagoon from our deck. The restaurant/bar for lunch had a great menu and we enjoyed the food. We only had one mis-fire with the staff; we didn't hear back on a dinner and fishing trip we enquired about. Short walk to convenience store. Pick-ups provided by most restaurants for dinner. Were told this resort is on the side of the island that bears the brunt of the winds and we it was windy during our stay - probably the time of year.

We got married at the Le Meridien Bora Bora and it was a fantastic experience all around. The staff, the grounds, the views, the activities, the spa, and of course, our wedding, were all exceptional! Staying in an overwater bungalow is truly an experience to savor for a lifetime.

"Incredible location and the "huts" were amazing. "
Bora Bora is an amazing place and the Intercontinental is in the best location on the island. The staff and service fell short. The meals are very expensive but the food and service in the restaurants didn't live up to expectations.
