Stunning Maison Bourgeoise on the banks of the Charente, canoe from the door
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutly stunning property located in a quiet town, the pictures do not do the property justice exteamly large rooms adequate for a large amount of people, we spent 2 weeks in the property and were able to explore multiple locations all within 30 to 40 min drive away, and if you dont feel like driving there is a train station 2 minutes away allowing you to get around, all of the rooms have been carefully thought about keeping with the the age of the property, this has been one of the best places we have stayed in in some years and i would deffinatly recommend to other thinking of visiting"
Gîte "Ile de Ré" with shared 7x7m swimming pool, 20 minutes from the beach
10/10 Excellent
"Superb accommodation - lovely and welcoming hosts who provided lots of useful local information. Fantastic facilities and pool. Everything was immaculate and very clean. Thank you very much."
"Family friendly gite, great as a bolt hole. Fun added extras inside for the kids. Outside area is great, pool area wonderful. Upstairs bathroom and some utensils may need updating at some point but overall all was good and we had everything we needed. Be aware the third bedroom is accessed by a steep ladder and not suitable for younger children, fine for my 10&12 year old with the help of a stair gate guard we attached.Friendly and helpful hosts. Only 10 mins from a variety of places to visit and most amenities. (Their dog is an old boy who is never intrusive and has been trained to never enter the gite, a real softie.)"
