"Our host Maurizio, added quite a few extra layers of enjoyment to our stay. A brilliant host who went above and beyond to make our holiday truely memorable! We have invited him to come stay with us when he visits Australia. As for the farm house it’s self, an amazing experience to live like a true Italian. "Everything was even better than expected. Plumbing issues did arise and should be addressed. We loved our stay and would recommend it highly to others"

"Its a nice place but it is on top of a hill with a really small road to it...almost no place to pass another car. When we arrived the host thought we would arrive the day after, so we had to wait for another hour for the key. The house was fine, big enough, nice bedrooms and living room and kitchen is fine. The pool is great! The winery is super and really tastefull! We had a nice vacation."

"Wir fühlten uns in der Toskana sehr wohl. Die Übergabe war sehr gut und die Vermieterin sehr freundlich. Die Wegbeschreibung könnte etwas genauer sein. Das Geschirr war leider schmutzig. Nachdem wir es gespült hatten, fühlten wir uns wohl. Wetterbedingt war es sehr kalt und feucht in der Wohnung. Wir bekamen auf Nachfrage den Pelletofen angemacht. Für die Pellets hatten wir Zusatzkosten, dass muss man wissen. Ohne Heizung hätte man es nicht ausgehalten. Leider hat es im auch sehr aus dem Ausguss...

"If you're looking to stay at a special villa and have the Tuscan dream vacation, then Villa Maria is the place for you. My family and I rented for a week - 9 of us ranging from ages 10 - 78. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the villa itself, the spectacular views and the owner, Tommaso. Tommaso had ensured that the villa was equipped with every amenity for a comfortable stay not to mention the extras, like leaving a bowl of fresh fruit, bottles of wine and olive oil. My family enjoyed everything Villa Maria has to offer, including the pool, tennis courts, pool table and the outside verandas to just sit and soak in the amazing views. In addition, Tommaso assisted us with arranging Chef Donato to cook dinners for us on 2 nights. I was a little nervous because my family has divergent dietary needs (2 of us are vegan) and some are just picky eaters so I wasn't sure if the experience was going to be enjoyable for all. Well, what Donato prepared for us was a culinary masterpiece and everyone enjoyed every dish he prepared, taking into account all of our requirements. My family agreed that these may have been the best meals EVER. The only disappointment was that we had to leave. Villa Maria is simply amazing and we are so grateful for Tommaso as he assisted us with all of our questions in the months leading up to our trip and during our stay to to ensure we had an incredible experience. We will forever treasure the memories we made and we will be back! "

"ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. My husband and I brought our 7-year old for a 10-day trip in Italy. We explored Rome and Florence but the highlight of our entire experience was staying at Villa la Palagina. The surroundings are gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the staff was so warm and gracious. It was the perfect getaway from the busy city centers. We booked a wine/olive oil tasting and we got to bring home a souvenir bottle that our son poured and corked directly from the barrel. While the furnishings in our villa were a bit rustic and outdated, the AC and main pools more than made up for it. Especially on those 95+ degree days. 5 stars across the board and I hope we get the chance to visit again!"

"There was 7 of us that stayed here at the end of June into July for 10 nights. This is better than the pictures show, the location was fantastic (you will ideally need a car to see Tuscany if not Arezzo train station has good links and is about 15 minute taxi journey away). The pool was a god send and better than we expected and is a really good size. The table tennis in the late afternoon shade provided good entertainment and house was fully equipped. Maurizio the host is an absolute gent, and was so helpful in helping us settle in and giving some great advice on places to go and places to eat. Would 100% recommend"
