A few of the wallabies were roaming around. Dan the manager was very helpful on hand for anything you needed. The little town of Canungra is close by with coffee shops etc. I would definitely recommend this lovely place. Wallabies are so cute and come to graze in the vineyard in the morning. Not far from spectacularly beautiful rainforests, waterfalls, wildlife in the national parks. Dan, our host was so kind and gracious- ask him more about local hikes and places to go. The place has everything you need - laundry, stove, fridge , microwave, even pool and jacuzzi under the stars. Just remember things shut down early out there so go to the local IGA early - they had delicious Mangoes, berries, watermelon and salads as well as other foods and goods. Lots of cute restaurants and shops in Mt Tambourine area but they close early. Sunset and hang glider lookout is a must! Bring your own dinner/drinks and a blanket for an amazing evening. Dan was great, he showed us around the property and gave us a nice welcome, the cabin was clean and had amazing views. There was fresh bread and continental cereal for breakfast. As you drive into the property you will be meet by a beautiful long winding road that will take you up the hill to see the wallabies and vine yard before the reception. The eco villa was so comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a weekend away, the layout of the villa uses the space so well you feel it is huge inside. The lovely gentleman that shows you around is absolutely delightful. It was the most peaceful idyllic location, not too far from everything. The rooms and grounds were so beautiful, very well furnished. The sumptuous breakfast was a wonderful start to the day. The breakfast was yummy, the spa wonderful, the room and main lounge were so well presented. We loved going into this area at night as the fire was always on and surrounds so comfortable. The hosts were delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. Host Robyn is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. She makes us feel so at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and love the quiet, peaceful surrounding with amazing views, fresh air, nature(beautiful birds, cute wallabies, other wildlife). Indeed a great place for retreat away from the hustle and bustle life. The room is big and clean with separate living room. It has cooking facilities with all the necessities. Breakfast is generous with freshly baked bread. You will find fresh eggs, bacons, and sausages & etc in the fridge. Nice cereals esp the toasted. This place is convenient. It is a short drive to Cannugra town for meals and groceries. It is also convenient to drive to other places of attractions around Tambourine mountain and other Places of interest.
