WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Booked because supposedly pet friendly, and Exp ad said no pet fee. I arrived and they said there is pet fee, which you can see on Choice Hotels ad. Ok, but they need to change their ad on Exp. They said also $100 deposit, which is no problem except it has to be in cash. Most places take deposit as pre-auth. Maybe staff keeps the cash and I'll never get it back? But the real clencher is they asked if I have a kennel for my cat. Who kennels a cat?!? Said cat couldn't stay w/o kennel, so they canceled my reservation, at 9:30pm while I'm in the lobby. Probably decided to reject me because I was arguing with them about the pet fee, or could be racial discrimination. In any case, I would avoid this place like the plague.

I will recommend this hotel cause its nice, clean, and its a nice place to stay . Me and my bf had a nice time and we enjoyed our stay for 7 nights. Thanks to the friendly staff that was on duty during our stay.

Property is attractive enough for the price and location. Listing said pets are free. Property policy actually calls for $25 for a small dog. More for larger.

My husband would not take a shower in the tub because it was nasty on the bottom. The room smelled musty when we walked in. The only decent thing was that the bedding was clean and smelled fine.

There is no washer and dryer when inparid for this room it said imthere would be a washer and dryer on site which is not true. Now I have to leave first thing in the morning before check out and go find a laundry mat

The front test staff was excellent working with me. My mother , while traveling, became extremely sick and had been transferred to a small area hospital . I had no idea how long I would be staying with her!( I came from Florida). They worked with me day to day. Room was very clean , coffee was great! And I felt safe being alone there.

The room was not stocked with any coffee supplies and the tub leaked water all over the floor. Not the cleanest I've ever seen, but also not the worst.

Warning!!!!!

The room was disgusting. Tried getting another room and it was way worse and upstairs is under construction. Men hanging around the front desk. I can’t explain how filthy and nasty the rooms were. We left and went someone else and still haven’t gotten refund yet.

The only complaint I have is we were unable to rent a recliner for my husband. The hotel didn’t have them and we couldn’t find a rental store that would provide one for two nights. My husband couldn’t sleep for 2 nights. But the bed was comfortable. And this is not a reflection on the hotel, just a suggestion.

Nasty and Rude

I booked a king suite with sofa bed and when went to check the lady at desk said i couldnt get that room for the price i paid online for and was very rude about it and made me downgrade to a different room and the room she gave me wasnt clean still had dirty use rag hanging up in shower and use condom wrapper on floor by night stand i will never use this hotel again

I had to pay a security deposit, which has still not been returned to me after calling multiple times and discussing with three different employees. They're blaming it on Expedia, but after contacting Expedia my refund has still not been refunded. Expedia should not have this hotel on their website.

Political harassment

Was asked why I didn't tell her about the airconditioning was broken.Mentined the shower chair was damaged. She said some older person could get injured. You better know who's job it is to access room before letting in a new customer. Canceled resorvation for October 9th to tenth. Re ceived no email or text to confirm. Seeking legal guidance on how to proceed. Was told that one of the employees at the Brandon Hotel was a victim of the Rankin County Sheriff's office was goon sqad. Was it? Has India or planned parenthood decided? How is this a concern of mine? Why is your employee being so political? How come I had money stolen from me 5 times from Choice hotel properties?
