Check in went really well the young guy at the desk was very nice and professional. The hotel is beautiful, and as I requested they gave me a room with a pretty good view!
The second morning I stayed there, I was half way into my breakfast, as a matter of fact I was getting my second cup of cafe, when one of the servers asked me out loud what my room number was and told me I hadn’t paid, I kindly told her breakfast was included in my reservation, she did not let me get back to my seat before following me and speaking loudly about how I haven’t paid and I need to pay. The problem I have is I am paying almost 200usd to stay per night, even if breakfast was not included, she was acting as if I was trying to steal a breakfast from the hotel. That service really turned me off, after the lady charged my room, I ended my breakfast before finishing so I could go get my phone from my room to show an email that I had received prior to checking in saying “breakfast is the only service I had with my reservation” at the end I was not charged, but the lady did not as much as apologize for her mistake. That was enough to make me end my stay there 2 nights early knowing I would not be refunded.
