Best location in Breck. 4 minute walk to lifts, 2-3 minute walk to Main St. Unit could have used a TV made in this century, but everything else was great. I would book here again.

The location is very nice, but the room doesn't get warm due to the cold coming from the balcony door and the glass gaps. Half of the room's heating channels don't work and the bathroom is very cold.

It had a few good qualities

We loved the location and style of condo We were surprised that we didn't have air-conditioning. Since it was a loft condo, the upstairs never cooled off. The box fan did help. Also, we had to call the front desk to get into the garage because the code wouldn't work, they never told us to use the room key to open the garage, although the code worked on the elevator and exiting the garage. Also, they had extra twin bed that was a water bed, which to us is not comfortable. We will not stay here again.

This was a great little studio in the heart of downtown. The building is a bit dated but our room was fantastic. Wood burning fireplace comfortable bed and just a short walk to many restaurants.

It’s downtown so you can walk to wherever you want. You have access to the parking garage which is secure so you don’t have to worry about your vehicle. We will be back.

Cute place near everything

Super cute place right in the heart of Breckenridge! I wasn't sure about booking this place because of the other reviews, but the location and price were perfect. We ended up loving it there and had an amazingly nice stay. Yes, like just about everything in Breckenridge, the place sees to be stuck in the 1990s decor-wise. That was amusing but everything was clean and functional, just dated and a bit worn. The only main complaint was how hot and stuffy it got upstairs in the loft (we were there at the hottest time of the year). Even with the windows and doors wide open to the chilly night air there was no air circulation to the upstairs. A fan would really help. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. We loved just walking out the door and exploring the town and the abundance of yummy restaurants nearby. Yes you have to check-in and check-out a bit down the road (but they have a 24hr desk which helped with our 5am departure!) - my gps led me to a smoothie shop first so I had to ask for directions. We never got to eat at the restaurant downstairs because the waits were always crazy long (popular place!), so maybe next time. If we return to Breckenridge we will be staying here again.

Great location.

Great location. Check-in is a separate location from hotel, which they tell you. However, the check-in was stated as 505 Main St., which is a outdoor mall. With no other directions, after traveling all day, I was wandering around a mall for 15 minutes trying to call the number provided, which kept giving me a busy signal. Finally, after reaching someone, I was told that there is a 505(a) and a 505(b), and check-in was a bit north of the mall. I originally booked 2 nights, and then decided that we wanted to get to Breck a day early, so booked another day ahead of the 2 already booked. When I did this (a few months ahead of my stay) I called and asked if that would be a problem. Was told no problem since both bookings were for single bed. However, when I checked in, I was told we would have to check out the next day and re-check in. Fun, especially since check-out is at 10AM and check-in isn't until 4PM. For some reason the first day they gave us a 2 bedroom and a loft (4 beds total) and 2 bathroom suite. That room was cozy, nice, with a lodge feel, great views. This was Aug., and there is no AC in the rooms, but there was a nice breeze. The 2nd room was a single, much (much) smaller, only one small mirror above the sink, a bit outdated. Parking was nice; underground, use room key. Did not see anyone use the hot tub; it s in the middle of the courtyard surrounded by rooms and closes at 9PM. Location great, wifi, parking, check-in area inconvenient.

While the property Der Steiermark is good, there are several issues. First, there are no heavy curtains. The morning sun came in through the slates of the window covering. Second, the elevator would not go to the basement parking no matter what we tried. They either need to give clearer directions or fix it. We had to get out on the main level and take the stairs. It would have been nice to have some of the local literature about the area in the room when we arrived instead of going to the visitors center for it.
