"I'd love to recommend this place because its got huge potential, but it seems to be very stuck in the past and reminded me of places I'd stayed as a kid in the 80's. I had no communication from the host or the cottages.com about checking in or checking out, just guessed where the location was and found someone from the farm where the stay was that helped me. "Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks. Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring. "
