“I had to contact the hosts to get the key code and access arrangements, as up until mid afternoon the day before, I had not heard anything. Although the wifi code and password was included in the message with the key code, when we arrived at Coneygree I could not access my messages because there was no wifi. “I recently visited with my husband and baby for a weekend away. We had a brilliant stay in the Montana log cabin! The place was spotless on arrival and styled beautifully. We particularly loved the outdoor tub, as well as the seating area at the front with gorgeous sunset views. Easy check in and check out process. We had no issues with hot water as there is a gas boiler in this cabin. The only reason for 4 stars was because of basic essentials missing on arrival - no bin bag, hand soap,……

“We had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed our time at the kingfisher Shepherds hut. If your looking to stay please bare in mind that the hut is very small, there is very limited kitchen supplies, ie no oven, microwave or decent sized freezer. Unfortunately lots of flys got into our hut which we had to sleep with as we had no repellent and no nets were provided. It is a bit of a faff having to heat your own hot tub and sauna, building the fire and keeping it alight for atleast 2hrs is hard work……

“Great apartment in a decent location, but it was badly let down by basic attention to detail. The portable AC appeared to vent hot air back into the room instead of outside, leaving the space uncomfortably hot overnight. With no windows that could be opened and very poor lumpy pillows, it became one of the most uncomfortable nights away from home I can remember...and I travel alot.”
