Beautiful place, the kindest hosts, a perfect stay

This is a wonderful place. Surroundings in the Haut Bugey is quiet and relaxing, with a sense of wilderness. Isabelle and Gerald are perfect hosts. They are not only friendly and accommodating but also extremely interesting. Writers, editors, she also teaches sophrologie and reflexology, and she is a marvelous cook. Breakfast includes home made jams and baked goods and dinners have been delicious too. The XIII century house is picturesque and traditional, yet with all the comfort needed. I warmly recommend Clos Marie.

Vi var der desværre kun en nat - men skulle videre. Vi kunne godt have brugt nogle dage i den smukke natur med gode vandre muligheder. Det er et meget gæstfrit og imødekommende par, der er værter - hyggeligt samvær ved morgenbordet, hvor vi havde en hyggelig snak selv om vi ikke taler fransk. Alt i alt en rigtig fin oplevelse

Excellent weekend

Nous avons passé une nuit très confortable et douillette dans une jolie maison et nous nous sommes régalés au dîner et au petit déjeuner. Nos hôtes étaient attentionnés et très sympathiques. Notre fils était enchanté par les jouets à disposition ainsi que par le chien et le chat et ne voulait plus repartir :)

je recommande fortement " le clos marie". nous avons été très bien accueillis, la chambre était magnifique, spacieuse, avec tout ce que l'on peut desirer à disposition. et pour finir, le petit dejeuner etait delicieux, surtout la brioche fait maison...une pure merveille..merci encore pour cet accueil
