“The room was clean and warm, clean comfortable bed and with plenty of hot water in the shower. My only quibble would be that after my stay I had the whole day to spend in Scarborough and would have really appreciated a safe luggage room at the hotel. It meant I had to cart my overnight bag around with me which rather hampered my movement. On the other hand, the view from the terrace is spectacular and the hotel is slap bang next to the Tramway cars down to beach level. Which was nice.”

“The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality. The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather.”
