“We loved staying here! It was absolutely beautiful, very well stocked and the property manager was phenomenal. The only thing that I would have changed was the stove, the burners would sometimes just stop producing heat but other than that, it was perfect!!”

We took my parents here for their anniversary and everyone was just blown away at the cozy aesthetic, the cleanliness, and the hospitality the hosts provided in this little house in the woods. Kerrie was so prompt and kind in answering any questions we had. I really cannot express how much of an amazing experience we had here not our gratitude for sharing their gorgeous home with us for these past few days.”

“This is an incredible property with fun for the whole family. More than enough room throughout with all the amenities one could ask for. Screened in porch with a lakeside view is the perfect place to enjoy relaxing times outside free from bugs. The kayaks and paddle boards allow for comfortable exploring of the majestic Whitstone lake. Make dinner in the beautiful open kitchen or grill on the barbecue downstairs. And the fire pit is the perfect place for evening gatherings. A+++”

“We stayed in the winter so a little snow and temps below freezing. The heaters did an great job of keeping the cabin at 70. 1 suggestion would be to add an electric heater for the small bedroom, similar to the 1 in the larger bedroom. The loft area has a tv, so even with 4 people in the cabin it didn’t feel crowded at all. The bar is perfect to sip coffee and look watch the bumbling creek (mini river). We had a small issue with the well pump the day before thanksgiving. The owners were prompt……

“Excellent off grid cabin. Very quiet almost remote feel within 10 mins of Bingham. Property was awesome. Running stream, firepit. The cabin itself is practically new, and being off grid amd cloudy we did need the generator a bit, but it is sheltered by another building and when you have it running you do not hear it AT ALL! Perfect setup for an off grid situation. Highy recommend and will definitely be back!!”

“My husband and I absolutely loved this location. The view is spectacular and the property is immaculate. I would caution anyone traveling with older adults or very young children, there are a lot of stairs—in the house and down to the water. My father in-law claimed climbing up from the lake to the house was equivalent to climbing the Eiffel Tower. (It’s not, but you get his point.) We would stay again in a heartbeat!”

“Very nice! Spacious, lots of rooms and very clean. The sunset was amazing. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. When I got the address a few days before our stay the address was listed 314.....unfortunately we drove to the very end of a long pitted, dirt road. Turned around. Luckily I had a photo of the house and we figured out the the number was 34, NOT 314. A bit of confusion.”

“This is the second time at this property. This time we enjoyed kayaking on the pristine pond, and evenings around the fire pit. The house layout was perfect for the 8 of us and everything you could ever need was provided, all we had to bring was the food. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable.”

“My partner and I had such a lovely time at this home. The house interior is beautiful and spacious. The couch is so comfy! The views were amazing. It rained the whole weekend, and we weren't even bothered as the home itself was so nice to spend time in. I highly recommend sipping coffee and looking out over the lake to get those relaxing vacation vibes started. “My wife and I were delighted to find this late season stay in Lakewood. We mentioned to the hosts that we enjoyed the show at the Lakewood Theater during a previous stay in the area. Before we knew it, she'd gotten us tickets for the bonus, end of season show at the theater. And she made reservations for us at the Lakewood Inn for dinner. The evenings were a bit cool for us Texans so the new electric space heater was greatly appreciated!”

“Nice open living area. Terrific appliances. Lots of water pressure in shower. Cool safe in the basement. On a main roadway, noisy at night for light sleepers. Surrounding area outside could be spruced up a bit. Grill needed gas. Overall, enjoyed our stay very much.”

“My friends and I rented marks house for about a month for part of our snowmobile season and its great spot. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers and trail is like 1/4 mile from the driveway. House was nice and clean plenty of room for everyone to sleep”
