“Adjacent main road a bit noisy. Otherwise good. Very quiet spot with respect to people. Landlords very helpful.”

“Well maintained and characteristic property with exposed beams and period features combined with modern decor and facilities. The only thing to be aware of is there is no shower in either bathroom (likely due to low ceilings), although both have a mixer tap with a showerhead so you can sit / kneel and shower this way. Whilst its proximity to the road is close, it was not a busy road, so passing traffic was not an issue during our stay. There was a pub within 1min walk of the property that also……

“I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in……

“We didn’t have hot water for our stay but the weather was nice all weekend so not too much of an issue. Never received the email with the check in number but thankfully the golf course staff were very helpful nearby. Overall it was well priced and in a great location for easy access to Hereford whilst still being in the countryside. Very peaceful location and friendly neighbours. Our two dogs had a great time staying there too!”

“We just had a great stay at Jackdaw Cottage! Our two dogs settled very well and enjoyed exploring the big garden.It was great having Knighton centre/shops in a short walking distance, but also being in a quiet location. We only live about an hour away but it was a break from home which we all thoroughly enjoyed.”

“It was a fantastic stay in such a quiet and calm place - village settings all around. We really enjoyed the BBQ facilities. Property was extremely clean and tidy. The host even kept a flap jack for all of us - so nice of them. Fully recommended.”

“Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. ”

Good communication and warm welcome from host. Perfectly situated to explore this beautiful part of Herefordshire. Would definitely stay again. ”
