Sheets hadn't been changed the whole time i was there. But everything else was good and clean. Didn't appreciate someone settling the smoke alarm off at 4am. good

Great location for exploring the city , room was clean and warm (good heating). Bed comfortable. Walls paper thin tho , so had to listen to some party goers loud conversations at 3am. But we were there early Dec when the Christmas parties had kicked off, so bound to happen. Hotel Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar service was good, some lovely cocktails created. Also had a meal in the Restaurant there and food was delicious and the restaurant team were lovely . Great stay, would stay there again. PS: Car park to the side of the hotel and had plenty of spaces.

Parking fees on top of an overpriced stay? No bath in a room with a balcony as paid extra? Lifts are a waste of time if the hotel is full as only 3 lifts which were usually full and a stay on the 9th floor through cold undecorated stairwells is not fun. Breakfast at the price set if not included is a rip off as even trying to queue for toast and coffee/tea is unacceptable. Lack of staff seems to be the overall problem and it’s beginning to affect their ratings.

Booked a premium room for myself, partner and toddler. As always room was clean and up to standard. Unfortunately the wifi was not working, so the receptionist quickly switched rooms for us. Unfortunately again wifi was not working and the AC was stuck on cold setting. Mentioned again at the front desk, to which receptionist explained they are getting new wifi and was very apologetic. Third time lucky, we was placed in a standard room, where the wifi and AC was working fine. Staff did note down and mention because we ended up staying in a standard and not premium like booked, they would give a discount for a future booking and meal vouchers. Overall service and staff was very good- we have stayed at this same hotel 4 times previously, so although this time wasn’t our usual excellent stay, it won’t put us off returning.
