Crossroads Hotel at Huron Event Center

Crossroads Hotel at Huron Event Center

10/10 Excellent
"The hot tub is a bit of a joke. The rooms desperately need to be updated and maintained. In general the entire Hotel was very humid. Multiple lights needed new bulbs in the room. The place needs some TLC."

"Older roadside motel is as you'd expect. Rooms are clean but smell of yesteryear. We had a great room with 3 beds for 3 traveling girls. Plenty of room for us and all our stuff. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful."

Enjoy the peace and quiet with a beautiful country view

10/10 Excellent
"I stayed at this property for 3 nights during a recent visit to Huron, SD. From the moment I walked through the door, it was obvious that I had made the right choice. Wow - this place is incredible! It was like walking into a private lodge! The location is out in the countryside. Super-relaxing, away from the noise and traffic of town, but still close enough to Huron to be convenient. Huge main floor finished completely in wood trim. One bedroom and bathroom on main floor with a large family room area. Plenty of seating options with a large wrap-around couch and several high-rise bar tables. Big screen TV and pool table. Huge, fully appointed kitchen with breakfast bar. Full complement of dinnerware/silverware. Cupboards even pre-stocked with various kitchen "staples". While I was alone during my visit, this property can easily hangle larger groups with additional bedrooms and bathrooms on the upper level. Large patio area for outdoor gatherings. Everything was absolutely speaky-clean! The hosts were fantastic people! They make sure that you have everything that you need during your stay. My stay at this property was fantastic - it was just like coming home every night. It's a "10 out of 10" for sure - likely even "11 out of 10" if that was possible. Really didn't want to leave! Whether you're travelling alone, with a family, or larger hunting group, do yourself a favor and stay here - it will likely be the best lodging experience you've ever had!"

"We enjoyed this property greatly during our three-night stay. The host's communication was responsive and clear, and we appreciated some flexibility with the circumstances of our check-in. The property was exceptionally clean, well-organized, comfortable, and homey. Would recommend to anyone visiting Huron, for any reason."
