"When booking I saw that the big room was available and that's what I picked as it overlooks the centre of Moffat . Being an older property it doesn't have a lift but I was able to manage the stairs quite well. It looks like it has had a refurb because the ensuite bathroom looked quite modern. We didn't have breakfast as we had made our minds to go out for the day on the Tuesday. Staff nice and friendly ."

"All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was very nice. The room was quite clean, but it was very tired and felt grubby. Walls definitely need repainting as there were stains everywhere which made it feel dirty. Again, the staff were all lovely. Aircon worked and it was quiet at night."

"Having parking was a huge benefit, the high street does get busy so knowing it wasn't going to be an issue is great. The breakfast was lovely, nice amount of choice and the full cooked breakfast was huge! We didn't get a chance to have a coffee in the cafe but the homemade cakes and biscuits looked delicious. Check in and check out was smooth and quick. We were in room 86 and the windowsill needs a bit of maintenance and the room could do with a freshen up but the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The locationis very handy for a stroll down the high street. Can't fault anything and would definitely stay here again."
