A great location but CLEARLY not a 5-star hotel! The hotel clearly caters to a certain personnel, which is not for everybody. From the dress-code of the staff to the pictures on the walls (nudes, Barbies having sex with John-John, gothic culture, etc), the "artistic" edge of the hotel would be CLEARLY inappropriate for, say, a family with young kids. Furthermore, there are NO common spaces. The reception area is a small room, leading to the elevators that take you up to the rooms. There are no living rooms, public spaces, breakfast area, or anything else in the main building. No people to help with luggage. The staff is as polite as barely necessary and not more... The rooms (we had a "superior" room) are really tight and, although we understand it is the center of London (a great location by the way), the square footage is even smaller than usual for such locations. No slippers, no any other accessories. A 5-star hotel???
