Eastern Reef Cottages

10/10 Excellent

"Highly recommended if you’re spending the night in Port Campbell after exploring the 12 Apostles. The cottage we stayed in is adorable and well-equipped for simple home cooking, with the town centre not too far away. We loved the beautiful flower gardens and, of course, meeting the sheep! It had everything we needed for a lovely stay."

Sea Foam Villas

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful one-night stay in a one-bedroom family spa apartment. The apartment was immaculate, spacious, airy, and beautifully laid out, with lovely high ceilings, a balcony with a partial sea view, and a well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed (and more, including a dishwasher!). The location is fantastic, with the beach just across the road and plenty of lovely cafés and restaurants within a five-minute walk. Port Campbell itself is a gorgeous area to explore. Our apartment was on the second floor with stair access, so I’d recommend requesting a ground-floor apartment for anyone with mobility difficulties. We did stay on a particularly windy night, which made the wind noticeable against the windows and doors, but this didn’t detract from our overall experience. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We’d wholeheartedly recommend these apartments and would definitely return if we were in the area again."

Twelve Apostles Motel & Country Retreat

8/10 Good

"Great Country Retreat, the staff was great with directing to my room but no mention of breakfast or dinner options & room was great with plenty of appliances & tv had regular apps to watch something on it, plenty of space with bed, lounge, bathroom & little kitchen area"

Daysy Hill Country Cottages

10/10 Excellent

"Our Daysy Hill Cottages one-night stay in a spa suite was delightful. Reception was smooth and the lady operating it was thoughtful in the advice and suggestions she gave us about where to eat and what to do during our short stay. The suite was clean and the gas fireplace heated the room beautifully. The amenities were perfect and would also be adequate for a much longer stay. The view from our suite looked out over the valley making the outside verandah a lovely place to relax with a beverage and take in the surroundings. This stay was our favourite on our 5 night Great Ocean Road trip and we wished we had booked 2 nights. I would say also that while Port Campbell is tiny it was quaint and appealing. The town was clean and fresh in appearance and offered a good array of dining options. It was a good location from which to travel to see many key highlights of the Great Ocean Road drive."

RIVERVIEW HEIGHTS Large/small Group Accommodation

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely beautiful house – the photos don’t do it justice!!We were honestly amazed by how big and beautiful this house is. It’s a huge double-storey home, with an enormous river-view balcony and BBQ area downstairs that isn’t shown properly in the photos. I would definitely recommend the host take some new photos because the house is much better than the pictures suggest. The river view was absolutely beautiful. Every morning I would wake up around 6am, make a cup of tea and sit watching the river — so peaceful! The house was extremely spacious, clean and well equipped, with comfortable large bedrooms, study nooks, sofas, plenty of bedding, a sound system and everything you could need in the kitchen. Perfect for a large group. The neighbourhood was also beautiful and peaceful, and lovely to walk around morning and evening. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again!"

River Lodge, Large house on the Hopkins River

10/10 Excellent

"A lovely house for get together event especially celebrating birthdays etc. great position and comfortable and several lounge and terraces to enjoy. I have been here for a special birthday with family and also with friends.Pool was enjoyed by several people"

NRMA Warrnambool Riverside Holiday Park

8/10 Good

"We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was lovely and presented well, in a quiet location with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed in Family Cabin 15 and had a couple of minor issues. The door lock was quite difficult to open, and some of the sheets folded on the bunk beds were unfortunately dirty. Thankfully, we only needed to use one of the beds, so it wasn’t a major issue for us. Overall, a lovely place to stay and we would happily return."
