The area outside the hotel felt a bit shady especailly at night. Mostly non-european men hanging around the street made my wife uncomfortable. However, we felt safe in the hotel. "Our stay here was very good. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom as it had glass walls. Parts were frosted but not enough.
The location was within walking distance of transit, Grand Place and Royal Place. There was ample underground parking across the street. Just make sure you register your vehicle to enter the low emission zone. "

Safe area and always full of people - if you are a light sleeper you may have issues sleeping because of the noise all night from the bars and cafes. We had no issues but all 4 of us can sleep through anything LOL
