It was absolutely amazing. The property was so much bigger than expected. You go to different parts of the property and it looked like being on a totally different property. It was well kept and gorgeous, and we will absolutely be returning.
This is a delightful cabin perfect for a relaxing and slow-paced vacation. It’s far enough out the be quiet and close enough to town for shopping and the like. The host was friendly and responsive to messages. We had a lovely stay!
Got there late, but appreciated the ease of check in and cleanliness. Very nice cabin! Morning was really nice, sitting at the edge of a large pasture, very nice.
For the past several years we have come here for Thanksgiving and once in the spring and it is consistently clean and comfortable. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get out in the country away from road noise. A great place to recenter. 7 of us went the first few times, 8 the last couple and we have always been comfortable.
This is our second stay at the cabin and we love it! The best beds ever, and such a peaceful area. Plenty of parking, and the nicest hosts we have ever encountered. Will definitely make this a regular stop!
We've been here a couple times before within the last two years. This cabin is consistently clean, furnished, and absolutely peaceful! We'll be back again. The communication with the hosts is always pleasant and prompt.
My friends and I stayed here for a crossfit competition. Phyllis was a wonderful and kind communicator. The property was massive and beautiful! Inside was cleanly and felt so cozy!

It was a beautiful quit retreat from the noisy world. It was clean. Love the wildlife. We will be back!
Stayed here on the way to a race in Lufkin. We visited our daughter in College Station and did not want to stay in town overnight with our truck and trailer. This was the perfect place to stay! It was quiet, peaceful and the surroundings were beautiful. Even though we only stayed 1 night we will definitely stay here again when we come to visit. So glad I found this home!!
This place is gorgeous, quiet, spacious and comfortable.
Truly a home away from home!
If I could give more than five stars I would.
The property owner was great and very helpful in helping me find the place when I got turned around.
The star gazing was perfectly clear and the nature was enchanting.
We just spent the best weekend at The Cabin! The space was comfortable and sparkling clean. Each room was thoughtfully furnished and had everything we needed. The hosts were so kind and communication was great. The property was beautiful and well maintained and there was an endless supply of wood for the firepit. We were able to unplug and enjou each other's company. We already booked another stay!
The Cabin is a very quiet, spacious, and inviting get-away. The hosts have ensured comfortable seating in both the living and dining areas to accommodate all. With a wraparound porch and a grilling pavilion in the backyard, there is plenty of outdoor relaxation space. The décor perfectly achieves the entire cabin experience, and little touches like the fabric tablecloth and soft, plushy bath towels complete a pampered feel. It is a calming cabin vacation at a good value.
My family and I were so thrilled with the space and the ease of everything. Being dog friendly is a bonus because the property is large, beautiful, and well maintained. Hosts answered questions before and during quickly. I’d move in if I could but I will just have to come back for a weekend away from the city. Truly a fantastic, restorative and simple weekend.
A beautiful property, this cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway! It was so nice to unplug and enjoy the firepit, play some cards, and sit on the porch. We saw (and heard) wildlife, too- deer, armadillo, hummingbirds, coyotes... it was amazing!! We are already thinking how great it would be to come back when the weather cools down! The amenities are perfect, too- we made use of the fridge and the oven!
The hosts are super nice and although the cabin is fairly close to the main house, we felt like we were on a private country vacation! We loved this place!!
We stayed for my son weeding weekend. Cabin was pleasant and comfortable for our short stay. AC worked great and stayed cool our interior stay. If you want to be left alone and away from others this is your place. Be advised there’s spotty cell service around the area and limited at the cabin. Only negative I have.
We had the most enchanting getaway at this cozy cabin nestled on a Christmas tree farm. The setting was simply picturesque, with the lush greenery and tranquil surroundings providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself was warm and inviting, offering a delightful blend of rustic charm and modern comforts.
What made our stay even more special was that we could bring our dogs along. They absolutely loved exploring the farm and running around in the open spaces. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning natural beauty made our time there truly memorable. We can't wait to come back for another relaxing retreat!
Wonderful property set on a Christmas Tree Farm. It was a cozy cabin, really clean, and the beds were amazing.
The cabin is about 35 minutes from Texas A&M, just far enough to feel like you are really out in the country and it is quiet. Well, it is quiet except for the mooing in the morning from the neighbor cows (I loved it!), as you are on the wrap-around porch drinking your coffee.
Although it was a tad warm out to enjoy the fire pit or the BBQ this time around, I am sure in the fall and winter they are amazing. For star gazing, all I can say is wow.
Just a word of advice, take your time, slow down, and be in the moment out on this land. You will see the deer grazing and napping. You don't get this in a standard hotel in College Station.
The cabin is located behind the main residence, and the communication with the owners was amazing. It is extremely private and quiet. If that is what you are looking for, book it now! Don't hesitate.
Oh man this was the cutest cabin and the perfect experience! Celebrated a friend's daughter's 13th birthday so it was the perfect space for us to stay with our 10 kiddos! Beds were comfy and everyone had space! It only had 1 bathroom but tbh it was totally fine, no problems there! The firepit was a perfect addition for s'mores! We even had some neighbors sweet doggies come and visit and the kids had a blast with them! The owners were very responsive and kind! The only thing (which was my fault I didn't check) is there's no washer/dryer, ha! Not a big deal and the listing was accurate so no fault of the owners, but in case you assume like I did (oops) it's worth mentioning :) it all worked out fine but if staying for longer than a couple days just plan accordingly:)Loved the outdoors and trails we could walk! Kids had a blast riding bikes and out being outdoors with no worries:) we will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay if we go back to that area!:)
