“This was a perfect place for us to stay for 2 nights while the guys completed the GAP and C&O Towpath bike ride from Pittsburgh to DC. We enjoyed the country setting and the spacious deck and appreciated that we were still close to things we wanted to do in the Cumberland area. Beds were comfortable and the entire place was clean and as shown in the photos from the listing. We did not make much use of the kitchen facilities, but the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. Having access to laundry……

“Great place to stay. Our whole family was able to be together and spend quality time with one another. It was comfortable and welcoming! It was so helpful to have a stocked kitchen, large table (big enough for everyone to eat around), and a washer and dryer. The game room was an added bonus! The trail around the house was really the only place to explore near the house. The roads are narrow, so walking or biking were not safe. However, the town was 10-15 minutes away and allowed for many……

“We had an amazing time! We were able to fully utilize the kitchen and grill to prepare meals throughout the whole weekend as the appliances worked and there was enough cooking ware for our needs. The bathrooms were clean and the hot tub was nice! The table games in the basement were fun to use too!Some of the doors were hard to fully close and/or lock. The lock box at the front door was finicky too. There was a broken step down to the river that should be fixed as it's currently a hazard”

“We truly enjoyed our week-long stay at the Lodge, nestled peacefully in the woods. The setting was calm, relaxing, and the house itself was clean and well-kept. Our favorite spot was the downstairs lounge, where we spent most of our time enjoying the games, television, and pool table. The lounge also opens out to the patio, perfect for evening bonfires under the stars. Loved it! Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again in the near future!”
