Bad: No vending machines. Flies were a real problem.
Good: Room was clean.
Restaurant was great, and very reasonably priced (lower than I would expect).
Breakfast was great, and huge.

We stay at the Mod because of the location to the Corner and our daughters apartment. The location for us is very desirable. That said, you are in a college town; the train can be heard going by, the frats are close and you can hear music and the street out front can be noisey. We bring a sound machine to drown out the noise.
The staff is literally the nicest and most helpful. We love the coffee, food truck (the breakfast tacos are the best I have ever tasted), and parking is easy in the garage located right across the street.
The rooms are very spacious with a small kitchenette, fun record player and nice sized bathroom. The rooms are very clean, modern and have a cool vibe.

"Very comfortable rooms. Convenient and easy to park. The restaurants are closed for a period in the afternoon and there isn’t anything that close by at off hours. There is a cafe with limited items. Restaurant menu lacks some basic offerings. But hotel was great. Very no frills."
