Bay Cottage is just right for our stays when down visiting family nearby. Easy access to the beach, canal and town centre. Parking away from the main road, and safe. Sounds of the birds waking you in the morning confirms this oasis of peace, despite the town location. Large grounds giving plenty of space to walk your dogs last thing at night. Owners in easy reach and happy to sort any problems with a smile.

Great location
Had a lovely stay at Bay Cottage with our dogs. Fantastic location. A quick 5 minute walk into the centre of Bude. A pub within walking distance. The hosts were onsite and available if required. Just feel the woodwork in the bathroom and kitchen could do with some tlc. Apart from that, the cottage is fine for a week away.

Love this little cottage which is fine for us and our two Cocker Spaniels. Close to the beach, and the heart of Bude but still very secluded. You just don’t realise it’s there from the roadside. Makes it especially quiet, although lovely to wake to birdsong. Walk to town, the beach or along Bude Canal, all within easy reach. We’ve stayed here a few times now, as so convenient to visit family who live up the road a bit. As the car is parked on the grounds, no hassle with finding parking spaces either.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The main thing for us was its location. The only downside was having no outside space where we could go without the dogs on leads. Even a few enclosed feet would have made the holiday perfect.

Perfect in every way
Bay Cottage is ideal for 2 adults & a dog, comfortable bed, dinning area & sofa perfect size, everything you could need in the kitchen & bathroom a good size with shower over bath + parking. Ideal location just a stroll from beach, canal, coastal walks & town. The setting is just beautiful with lovely, well-kept grounds, really couldn't have asked for anything better. Would definately stay again & wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Perfect!

The location was perfect, two minutes into the Center! And a short stroll to the beach! Felt at home at the cottage, very comfortable bed slept like a log! Perfectly equipped for the two of us to either cook in or sit outside. Would definitely recommend

We stayed in the delightful Bay Cottage with our dog. The cottage was quirky and cosy and very well equipped. The clothes dryer was somewhat rustic and difficult to put up, so gave up and hung towels on the back of the garden chairs to dry! Location was perfect, within 5 minutes walking to town and Summerleaze beach and just a stagger to (and from) the pub! Hosts Jonathan and Gina were friendly and welcoming. We love Bude and we will be back - loved it!

Great Bude bolt hole holiday
Great cosy cottage in superb location. Well equipped and very obliging hosts. Cannot recommend highly enough if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to stay whilst visiting Bude and/or surrounding area.

Bay cottage is a lovely little cottage, it is an old building, therefore a bit damp. It is ideally situated, just a short stroll into Bude and to the beach. The Brendon Arms pub serves excellent food.

Quaint little cottage
Although we didn’t meet Gina we did communicate through Vbro regarding the Wi-Fi. All was resolved within minutes. The cottage was very quaint and it was big enough for the two of us and our large dog. Everything was provided for in the cottage, towels, hand soap and other little bits. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great too.The decor is very nice and the cottage itself is very clean. The fire place is a lovely feature too, and we did use this during our stay.Super convenient for the beach and walking distance to the town centre. We come to Bude twice a year to visit friends and we really enjoyed our stay at Bay Cottage. Thank you :).

Perfectly placed for Bude
Lovely little annex for two plus dog. Perfectly placed for all that Bude has to offer which is plentiful. Everything that was needed was there, comfy bed and a beautiful setting.

Quirky cottage with lovely thick, original walls. Lovely bed and cosy lounge.
Generally well described and tastefully furnished. A bit dated, especially kitchen and bathroom. Enough pans, dishes for the two of us, but just enough. Could have done with more than two teaspoons - a little mean when you have to stop eating your boiled egg to stir your tea. Lovely grounds and friendly owners.

Perfect holiday accommodation.
Fabulous peaceful cottage in a brilliant central location, with all the amenities needed for a great holiday and a lovely comfy bed! We enjoyed lots of coastal walks, beach walks and even saw a kingfisher on the canal walk. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Second visit and just super convenient for us. Beach within walking distance,. You wake to the sound of the birds, even though very well placed to access Bude. Some amazing trees in the grounds and parking within a few yards of the door. Booked to return again, as so easy to visit family in the area.

Perfect location and everything you need!
Very well equipped and comfortable cottage on a superb location. Only a few minutes from the town and coastal path yet quiet and private due to its being set back from the main road. The bed was really comfortable, shower powerful and the kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Bay Tree Cottage is a perfect getaway place for us and our two Cocker Spaniels. Literally within walking distance of the beach, yet well back from main roads. We liked it so much we have already booked again for Springtime. The Owners are closeby in the event of problems, but not looking over your shoulder either.

Absolute gem!
My daughter and I have just returned from a week at Bay Cottage and the property is an absolute gem! Exceptionally clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for our break. The cottage itself is gorgeous and beautifully decorated. It's also just a few minutes walk from both beach and town. Hosts were incredibly friendly and it was fantastic to attend two live shows in the manor garden while we were there. Can't wait to go back!

We had a great week in Bude staying at Bay Cottage. The location is perfect within easy walking distance of town centre, beaches and canal. The cottage was provided with all essentials and it was a nice welcome to be provided with tea/coffee and fresh milk on arrival. Very friendly hosts who were available if required. Fantastic time and great location
My wife and our springer enjoyed this holiday so much.The cottage is only 5 minutes away from a dog friendly beach and because it’s flat it’s ideal for our dog.When not at the beach we sat outside and greeted anyone with a wagging tail and a quick chat.The owners are always available but keep their distance.All in all a great place.

Property was very clean smelt beautiful. B.The shower was to die for.The location was beautiful an ideal base for both bude and north cornwell.our only bug bear was the sofa too low and uncomfortable and a blind would be nice in the toilet/shower room. But we had a wonderful time here!!!

Perfect location
We loved Bay Cottage for its location primarily. It was as central to restaurants ,beach, pubs and shops as is possible ,but tucked away up a drive and part of the beautiful main house , Ebbingford Manor. It was peaceful and in a lovely setting. The cottage is small but with everything you need. The kitchen is tiny but it has all the appliances needed. The shower was amazing,the best we’ve come across. Comfy sofa in the lounge and a comfy bed too. So many lovely restaurants nearby including The Bank Tapas, 10 minutes walk away, Olive Tree just around the corner and many more. It was a lovely holiday.

Close to Summerleaze beach and the beautiful canal in Bude. Property was well equipped and comfortable but needed a little updating. The heating was erratic and the neighbours were able to look into the building from their garden. Beautiful setting in Ebbingford Manor

Bay cottage the perfect base for us to explore North Cornwall and North Devon. It was warm and cosy. The Brendan Arms is close at hand for a pint and a pub meal. Jon and Gina were on hand to help us . I enjoyed a short game of rounders with the family until rain stopped play!

Just perfect! Location, space and well equipped!
We loved the cottage. It's perfectly located within walking distance to Bude and a great base if you want to explore further afield too. It had everything we needed including utensils, a great shower and a comfy mattress. Beautiful, well kept place and great hosts who were speedy at responding and even let us in when i locked us out. Only minor (and by no means negative) thing that would have been handy due to the relentless rain was Netflix/chromecast for the TV.

Ebbingford is a lovely manor house set in wonderful gardens and is very near the beach and close emenities , sadly we had very bad weather and the drive down was horrendous...Would go back in a heart beat.

Handy location
Clean and well equipped cottage. Perfect location for all Budes' amenities and popular destinations like Tintagel and Padstow. Was surprised there were no tourist info booklets or guest feedback book in the cottage. Also felt decor was in need of an update, despite this had a lovely stay and would revisit the area. Good food at Urchins bistros and The Falcon.
