The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean. Plenty 9f parking. Breakfast was good. But the evening meals were expensive and not as good as I would expect given how much they cost. We had our last meal there and as I'm a vegetarian, I'm limited anyway. They could not adjust I was told as the meals came ready made - so microwave food for £15 to £20. I ended up getting soup.

Stunning location, hotel and staff. Lots of stairs and a long walk to the rooms if you have any mobility challenges but otherwise really lovely.

Overall we had an excellent stay. The hotel is a little disappointing from the street but once inside things are greatly improved. The rooms in particular were spotless and must have been recently renovated. Our only area for improvement would be shelves in the (excellent) bathrooms to store toiletries. Breakfast was good and the evening meal was good quality if a little limited. The main plus point were the excellent, efficient and cheerful staff who we commend.

"We had a great time at this hotel. We were there 2 nights and it was very easy to get in the car and see all of Isle of Sky from there. The property was under some construction but they did a good job of keeping it mostly away from the rest of the hotel. We were probably going to miss dinner one ..."
