Common area impressive and kitsch at the same time. Overall, Beautiful manor in a rather nice neighborhood. Breakfast was not the best, could do some efforts here. Good price for the quality

Stayed one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience, especially considering the price point. I already had a headache before arriving, and the first room had an extremely strong bleach odor that immediately made it worse. Even a staff member acknowledged how strong the smell was. I requested a room change, which the front desk accommodated, but later that evening I discovered dried blood stains on the bedding in the second room. At that point, since I was checking out early the next morning, I chose not to switch rooms again. The staff was polite, and the location is great, but cleanliness and room quality are extremely important to me, especially at over $400/night. I expected a much better experience.

Great location in historic district, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was excellent, and historic building really cool and well maintained. Parking is a little tricky as only city street spots are available. Overall was a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again if in Savannah.

Without going into long detail about how nice this hotel is…the most important item you should know is that we would not hesitate to come back here. 5 stars in all aspects.
