Ive never had to put down a $60 cash deposit before getting the room key. This was after I had paid for the room. I could hear every car that drove by the motel during the night, making difficult to sleep. Not a good experience!

They've done their best to make silk out of a sows ear, for sure. We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend. The lobby/bar were comfortable as pictured. The attendant who checked us in was nice; we went to the front desk a couple of times over our stay to get more coffee pods and each attendant was helpful. It was always cool/cold inside, the A/C worked well throughout the facility. Like many have noted, it was humid in the room. The A/C was very loud and required my travel earplugs at night. There were hairs on the wash cloth I used on the first night; that was the most unsettling thing of the entire stay. The rest were clean as expected. The bathroom was as pictured and nice. The water pressure was adequate, but not strong enough to use both shower heads at the same time. The sink pressure was fine. The interior of the room was odd and took a bit to get used to with the exposed concrete industrial look and minimalist furnishings. There are no drawers for clothing, just a closet with hangers. There was an odd lounge chair in the corner that looked like a psychiatrist's couch. The pool was nice with towels available. The pool lights would come on and off like someone was trying to prank the guests. The bar was nice; the bartender who was there made a better than decent Old Fashioned and was easy pleasant to talk to. The fire alarm went off at 7:30am on the morning we were to leave, so we got a startling wakeup call. Fine enough if you just need a humid place to sleep.
