Between these natural treasures are attractive parks in a district offering a more serene alternative to the bustling city center. In the summer, visit Suyeong-Gu to join the revelry on the sandy strands of this entertaining zone.

Bring your family to Millak Waterfront Park and enjoy a picnic against the picturesque backdrop of the sea. Admire the vista of the iconic Gwangan Grand Bridge connecting the district to neighboring Haeundae-gu. This is one of the longest bridges in the country. See it at night, when its bright colors reflect on the surface of the water.

On a warm afternoon, relax on the sands of Gwangalli Beach. Go for a swim in the clear water and bring snorkeling gear to spot colorful fish. As the sun descends, the various cafés and restaurants lining the back of the beach offer romantic spots for a date.

Stroll along the interweaving paths of Suyeong Sajeok Park and relax on one of its benches between the trees. For an indoor activity, attend one of the regular concerts held in the impressive KBS Hall.

While traveling through Suyeong-Gu, appreciate the regular presence of Geumnyeonsan Mountain, which overlooks the area. It was once the home of a pair of temples and is now covered in a labyrinth of hiking trails.

Suyeong-Gu is located in the eastern part of Busan in southeastern South Korea. It runs along the western bank of the Suyeonggang River, on the northern side of Nam-gu. Ride the city’s metro system to the Geumnyeonsan station and get around the area by bus or taxi.
