I've been staying at the Almont Inland for many years--the rooms are comfortable and I love seeing the waterlilies open and close at the lagoon. The staff are wonderful and accommodating, the pool is beautiful and clean. The food is good and varied and the live singers on the weekends are my favorites!

I always enjoy my stay at the Almont Inland. The staff are always so welcoming and I enjoy staying by the pond and breakfast is always good. I plan to stay here every year!

I had a good experience at this property. Staff was receptive and helped find our room. We had everything you would expect at a hotel room although there was no hot water but this common for the region. Pool are was very nicely done and great area to hang out. I was pleasantly surprised with breakfast that came with our room. Very tasty and plenty to choose from. I would stay here again.

Two thumbs up for Almont Inland

Front office staffs are awesome specially “crizel” I’m not sure if I spelled her name right (she deserves a 5 start rate). But in general all staffs in the restaurant, housekeeping and bellboys are very professional. I will recommend this facility to my friends in the U.S who wish to visit BXU. I was a little bit disappointed in our 1st day of stay but it turned well for the rest of our stay. Thank you so much

Nice Resort with beautiful Pool

very easy check-in, there were some restauration works but didnt disturb me; the bigger problemS. mosquitos; but the staff is very helpful; nice breakfast; and the pool is wonderful, the very best in Butuan. the size of the room is very good (Big), bathroom very fine too.

The room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were good. Location was not too far from two new malls. The University nly things that let it down for me was a very loud singer in the restaurant at dinner time and when we moved outside to get a table where we could speak, a zumber exercise class started with loud music and we were stuck between the two and still unable to speak !

Actually the hotel could have 5 stars, but from me they only get 3. The rooms are perfect, wonderful aircon, very good insulation in the rooms. The staff at the fron desk and the cleaning staff is very kind. The staff at the restaurant not so much. I know it is very hard nowadays to get good staff but waiting in the morning for 10min until any waiter comes to the table and then I still have to ask for spoon and fork... most of them are only looking around and are not attentive. The food is ok, even for the price I paid there should be more choices, but I know, I am in the Philippines where breakfasts are not really special. But what is that kind of food? I missed the names of the food which they put after I complained to the manager. But the worst thing is that the hotel is not providing any juices for breakfast. Not even orange juices or "cheap chemical" juices! You have to pay for them - which I never experienced in any hotel, not even in 1 star hotels in this world. Please change that! The cleaning of the breakfast tables is only rudimentary. I remember that one day we had to change the table 4 or 5 times because the tables were full of ants. They don't clean them with cleaning soap, only with water.And they never ask "How is the food?" That would be a way to get to know about the reality. Waiters in countries with good food always do that. Everywhere I experienced that in Asia, but.... very seldom in the Philippines.
