“I spent 1 night and it was fine for me. The room was clean. There is a fan which was good bc I don't like ACs. The mattresses needs updating bc I could feel the coils. The front desk was very nice. The grounds are very clean. ”

“The property is a mini animal sanctuary, with many agouti running around and sloths hanging in the trees. Many birds and frogs and even a kinkajou, although hard to spot. The hosts are very nice and helpful, Marise will make sure you and comfortable and Pierre will tell you all about the wildlife. The room is clean and comfortable, although there is no AC, so keep that in mind. It is walkable to Cahuita although a couple more min out of the way than some of the other hotels, wasn’t a problem to……

“Without Google we would have had a hard time finding it! In our room there was a shrieking noise which we assume was from the water system - it seemed to be connected to the toilet which sometimes did not flush well. We reported it at the desk when we left - really just a minor concern. Overall we had a very pleasant stay there. Liked the restaurant having tables on the beach - shades of "Death in Paradise" on the TV!”

“Very nice cabins. The ones closest to the road can be a little noisy but not unbearable. Great restaurant on the property. We also visited a nearby Caribbean restaurant called Lidia’s for delicious food. The beach is walking distance behind the property but you have to search for a safe spot to swim due to big surf ”

“I absolutely loved my stay at Terrazas. The location is fantastic, close to a ton of restaurants and bars, and practically across the street from the beach. The staff is super welcoming and kind, and they even surprised me with dessert for my birthday. The rooms were very comfortable and the AC worked very well, as did the hot water for a shower. I also really enjoyed the toiletries; everything was top notch. I highly recommend. ”
