“I was warmly welcomed upon arrival. Smiles were abundant. I was shown around the property coffee and water available and beautiful areas to enjoy and relax My room was immaculate, the bathroom had all new and modern toilet sink, and shower. Along with an abundance of HOT water. Breakfast at the little restaurant next door was fresh and YUMMY. If I ever find myself in Ecuador again, Riobamba, I will stay at Hotel Montecarlo Riobamba again. ”

“A wonderful stay. Not only is this guest house run for a great cause (education of indigenous people in Guamote and surroundings) it is done without sacrificing any comfort, style or creativity for guests. Staff (both local and expat) were great. The breakfast and dinner were a cut above Ecuadorian standards. The room was comfortable and spacious with a king bed and good shower.
