Disappointed only 1 pool open, was very busy Having to go from one building to another for meals when there is another restaurant which isn't being used isn't great either especially with how busy that was! Then not having half the drink machines on which caused big Ques especially for hot drinks on a morning!! I really like the hotel and this isn't my only stay here so I was disappointed!

Hotel Riu Festival is in a great location with a 5 min walk to the beach and nearby bars and clubs. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are basic along with the pool and bars. Most of the fun action is outside the hotel. For the price including breakfast and dinner it is solid. Most of the area is frequented by mostly Germans and other visitors internationally but during the World Cup games it was quite the vibrant experience.

Had a really great time as a solo traveller. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was a standard buffet breakfast, a good amount of veggie options (would’ve loved veggie sausages). Very close to the beach and the bus stop to go into the town and the airport (very frequent buses, 25 min bus journey). There was also a really nice and cheap tapas place down the road (bar Alaska), and some really nice places to eat in palma town (l’informal, bar espana). There’s a bigger supermarket about 5/10 min walk away that had more picky bits for lunch and a bakery section. The area and hotel felt very safe, had no issues safety wise. There were showers in the spa that guests can use after check out which was helpful and luggage can be stored too. Overall, a great time and I’d recommend!

Don’t usually do reviews but this boutique hotel stay was excellent. A wonderful size hotel, nice and quiet with a few people about. Always comfy sun-beds available. Excellent view of the soft sandy beach and the sea. Good area for other local restaurants, but an exceptional setting under the trees at the onsite restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Loved it! We were even given some complimentary drinks as we were celebrating a birthday.
