"Excellent location. Stayed here twice now and paid the little extra for sea view and balcony and worth it! Very clean, A/C brilliant. Cleaned daily with towel changes and toiletries. Breakfast is rather unimaginative and unchanging but ample and decent quality. Parking inRoses is a nightmare so if you have a hire car beware!!! You can park across the road but it will cost you dearly! A lovely hotel and had my swim each morning and evening."

"This is a hidden gem. Well, it’s not hidden but it’s not on the main beaches. It was a quick walk from the bus station and in a quiet and quaint neighbourhood. Food was the best I had the whole time there, it’s beyond clean, and Sara (staff) went well above and beyond to make my stay one to remember. Can’t wait to return. "

"We had a great stay at this vacation home. Everything necessary was available and the home was even more beautiful as described. Also it was very clean!!!The communication with the owner was very punctual.I read in the comments that some people did not like the contact person living downstairs at the pool level but this didn't bother us at all. He was hardly ever at home and when he was, he was very discrete and helpfull.An extra airco unit in the children's bedroom does seem necessary however when the outside temperature is above 30C.During our stay a lot of construction works of new vacation homes were ongoing in the street which did create a noise problem. But al together we didn't let it bother us and we enjoyed our time on the terrace.This place helped us discover Cadaqués and the beautiful surroundings and we will always keep warm memories of our stay here."

"Nice views from the top of the hill and a chance to catch a sea breeze. A bit of a walk back up the hill from the restaurants and bars but good exercise so we didn't mind. The hotel and rooms were beautifully airconditioned."

"A wonderful holiday revisiting Cadaques after 20 years. All you could need for self catering, beds comfortable, pool warm enough late afternoon but it is still May. As other reviews have mentioned, the walk up from the town centre includes 84 steep steps, which was a challenge but definitely worth it.Can highly recommend."

"Pros: Million dollar views of mountains and sea! We spent most of our time on the beautiful covered porch enjoying the breeze and views. Very private location in cute neighborhood without back door neighbors. Kids loved the pool (note that it was 4+ feet deep so not good for non-swimmers). Good sized home with three bedrooms on lower level. We had to wait awhile to check in, but Daphne’s daughter was super helpful in describing the area to us. Cons: The place could use a good cleaning and decluttering - lots of knick-nacks and we were expected to water their plants. No toiletries provided- we needed to buy toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc. Please note there is only one smoke detector (in lower level)."

"Stayed for two nights while visiting Cadaques, Llanca, and Port de Selva. Great location to explore all these areas. Positives: - Great location. Quiet and lovely - Wonderful breakfast provided - Friendly staff, particularly David who was most helpful - short drive to all three locations above. - Medieval feel as the rooms are attached to a winery. The building is very old. Negatives: - Bed was quite firm, common in Europe. "
