"An excellent summer getaway in the Pyrenees mountains — perfect for stargazing and relaxing near streams and natural water fountains. Just a 20-minute drive from Andorra town centre on the Spanish side. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delightful."

"Absolutely beautiful property with amazing, helpful staff. It is very close to the city but not right in the center (a short 5-minute drive). We actually preferred this.
It really was a little bittersweet to leave. We will stay there again."

"The hotel itself is lovely, The spa, pool etc., was fantastic. The outdoor pool area was very nice as well. The rooms were very large and exceptional. The hotel is really well made. Downside is the staff at the bar outside (which I think is not technically owned by the hotel, but is their main eating area) were not helpful. Left us waiting 15 minutes to be served then told us the restaurant closed two minutes ago. There was nowhere else to get food at all. We were very hungry until 7pm when it...

There are several high end hotels in L’Seu if that is what you are looking for, but La Glorieta is a stand out. It is a quaint small hotel on the hillside overlooking the town, and with excellent views of the countryside.
The staff were exceptionally courteous, helpful, professional and friendly. The rooms are not luxury accommodations, but were clean, comfortable and maintained well.

We visited La Seu to attend the World Cup Canoe/Kayak Competition. Hotel a short walk to the venue. Friendly and hardworking staff. Excellent breakfast. Elevator to lobby, but then need to walk up stairs to get to rooms. Room was small. Bath tub/ shower had slippery surface. Garage 1.5 blocks away. I injured myself at Olympic Park and the staff could not have been more helpful. Many small restaurants within 500 meters of hotel, with two excellent gelato kiosks just across the street. Just...

Great location and amazingly helpful staff. We were able to walk everywhere in Andorra la Vella from the hotel. Special thanks to the woman who checked us in on 10/27. She recommended the perfect hike for us. And, the bartender was very nice too. We highly recommend.

Loved this place. The views from floor -3 and up are epic. The Pub and breakfast staff are amazing, but especially Nico and Josefina.
All of the women at the front desk are especially helpful.
The only con was that a bees nest was hidden in the panels outside our windows and there are no a/c or screens (nets) so we had to pick stuffy room or several bees. We moved rooms later in the stay and had zero issues with this however.

Our favorite hotel in Andorra, quiet and a great value. The rooms are modern with high quality decor. The location is centric but hotel parking is limited and tight. Public parking is 2 minutes walk away and spacious. We stayed here numerous times and will come back soon.

leuke uitbaters die alles in het werk stellen om uw verblijf zo leuk mogelijk te maken
we konden onze motor netjes in de garage zetten waar toch plaats was voor een 5 à 6 tal motoren
properen badkamer
al met al een leuk verblijf

The best area to stay in Calbinya is the historic village center, which offers a blend of traditional Catalan charm and convenient access to local amenities.
The village center is characterized by its narrow, winding cobblestone streets and well-preserved stone buildings. The main square, Plaça Major, is a central gathering point with several cafes and local shops. You'll find the historic church, Església de Sant Esteve, nearby, adding to the picturesque setting.
Couples looking for a tranquil and authentic experience will find the village center ideal. It provides a peaceful retreat with opportunities for leisurely strolls, enjoying local cuisine at family-run restaurants, and experiencing the slower pace of life.
When is the best time to go to Calbinya?
While Calbinya is a destination that can be appreciated year-round, the best times to visit are generally during the shoulder seasons of spring (April to June) and fall (September to October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.
During these months, the temperatures are comfortably mild, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the Pyrenees, hiking the numerous trails, or enjoying the local villages without the intense heat of summer. You'll find the landscapes lush in spring with wildflowers, and vibrant with autumnal colors in the fall. This is an excellent time for couples seeking a tranquil retreat or solo travelers looking for outdoor adventures.
The summer months (July and August) are also popular, particularly for families. The weather is warm, great for enjoying outdoor activities, and many local festivals take place. While it can be busier, the higher altitude often provides a welcome escape from the heat found in other parts of Spain.
Conversely, winter (November to March) offers a different kind of experience, with cooler temperatures and the possibility of snow, especially in higher elevations.
