"On the whole we enjoyed our stay. The balcony was great, bed comfy and a nice bathroom.the staff friendly and helpful. We did have issues… the air con was noisy and we couldn’t turn it off until a staff member came. Air con from other rooms was noisy as were people scrapping chairs across the tiled floors at all times night and day, and locally there was a small dog that constantly yapped from dawn to dusk, however these are problems everywhere. I can recommend Maiori as a base for the Amalfi...

"The Angelina is a quiet comfortable self catering accommodation just off the main promenade and convenient to all amenities As a resident here we were able to avail of breakfast in the panorama hotel in their rooftop restaurant which was very pleasant with a good selection of buffet food and polite staff. Overall I would rate our experience as very good and would certainly return here or to its sister hotel The Panorama "

"This location was a last minute find. We had driven up from Amalfi, we were early. Found the place easily, walked in to see if we could check in early. The first thing, we were offered a coffee by two of most lovely ladies. They took care of us, gave us direction to the Ruins. What a wonderful fine. Plenty of Parking, nice pool area for relaxing outside. LOVED IT!"

"Cinzia and Gregorio were amazing hosts and the location was perfect. There were quite a few steps, but hard to avoid if you are staying on the Amalfi coast. Conca dei Marini was the perfect base to see all of the area. It was a quaint little town where we got know all of local business owners and they treated us like family. It was also easy to get to all of the coastal towns once you became familiar with the Sita bus. Or take the bus to Amalfi and catch the ferry to other towns or Capri or...

"Wonderful place except for all the stairs. Arrive from the top street vs the bottom and during daylight. We had quite a time finding the place with the public bus but thanks to the wonderful people of Italy all went well. The restaurant nearby was excellent and the cafe offered beverages and snacks . Be prepared for stairs to get there...whew! "

If you're up to a challenging walk (stairs) the beach, market and town are all within walking distance. Otherwise, the bus stop is right at the front steps. You can get pretty much anwhere. They were communicative and accommodating to our unexpected travel delays. Matteo met us in the Flavio Gioia square (located right by the ferry and bus stop) and escorted us directly to the short walk to the apartment. The room was ready when we arrived and the on-site representative Luigi explained everything about the property , the room, the surrounding area, restaurants etc. Local transport, mini market, launderette are all close by. "What a wonderful Villa. The hosts were attentive and really very nice. Villa was GREAT for our family of 9 adults! Location was very beautiful. If little narrow mountain roads scare americans..then you can take the bus. There are a lot of steps. So be aware. But they are worth it. Villa was clean. Open and spacious. Loved our stay!!"

"We had a super three nights stay and the property had everything we needed. It was hot when we were there (heatwave), so we had to keep windows open overnight. Barking dogs from a distance away, so unavoidable, although annoying. Quite typical in rural Italy though. Owners friend, Monica, spoke very good English, sobwe had no problem communicating. Great find!"
