The hotel is overpriced in our opinion. No elevator and basic services only. It shares reception with a hostel and has a bit of a hostel feel. The double bed was fairly small for two adults. For the same price, which was over $200 for a night, we generally get a better quality hotel.

There were many good things. Carlos, night security, billiard table, clean rooms, nice lobby, decent location, super market across the street, nice breakfast place nearby, bars/food 5 min walk, a place to secure luggage prior to check in. Here is my beef, although check in is 3pm we had asked about early check in before booking. The answer was "maybe". We arrive at 10 am went out for 3 hours and then we waited in the lobby for 2 hours with two other groups. It turns out there were only 3 check ins that day. I can't understand why the cleaning crew wasn't told to prioritize the new check ins. Check out is noon! It took 3 hours to prepare 3 rooms? Awful management of house keeping personnel. All the new check ins could have settled in before 1pm. Could have been a 5 star review.

Great location to San Juan Old town. Hotel staff very helpful and room a nice size and clean. Had 2 night here before a cruise and would certainly recommend it.

Room was nice but small with a curious layout. Whole facility was nice and staff were very courteous and efficient. Sister property next door has a nice restaurant

Clean room, good towels, great water pressure. Good location.
