La Fata Farmhouse, nestled in the lush, cool hills between the beautiful city of Lucca and the ancient village of Camaiore—and just a few kilometers from the beaches of Versilia—is the ideal place to spend a peaceful and completely relaxing vacation.
The vacation home, located right on Via Provinciale Est, features six cozy, independent apartments, tastefully furnished and equipped with all the amenities.
You’ll enjoy your own private, exclusive spaces: a beach umbrella near the pool with chairs and loungers, and a section of the garden equipped with a gazebo, dining table, and barbecue.
The grounds (approximately 3,000 square meters) and the pool (12 x 7 meters, 1.35 meters deep) will make your time outdoors joyful and unforgettable. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Furthermore, the farmhouse’s location allows you to easily reach and visit Tuscany’s most interesting cities and many nearby attractions that are absolutely not to be missed.
The property is close to the towns of Monsagrati, San Martino in Freddana, and Valpromaro, where you’ll find grocery stores, supermarkets, pizzerias, shops, pharmacies, and gas stations.
SERENELLA is a ground-floor apartment (50 square meters – sleeps 2–4) with direct access to the garden, featuring two rooms overlooking the park. It consists of: a bedroom with a double bed, a spacious living room (with a double sofa bed) featuring a dining table and a well-equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower. It can accommodate two adults, but also comfortably accommodates families with one or two children or two couples of friends.
Amenities: Wi-Fi, satellite TV, pots and pans, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, four-burner stove, exhaust hood, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer, towels (small, medium, and large, for each guest), linens (sheets), heating (charged per cubic meter: €5.50). Cribs and high chairs are available upon request.
Outdoor amenities for the apartment’s exclusive use: a beach umbrella near the pool with chairs and lounge chairs, and a section of the garden equipped with a wooden gazebo, dining table, and barbecue.
Shared outdoor amenities: fenced-in pool (open from 9 a.m. until sunset—May through September) with outdoor showers; garden featuring a large brick gazebo, armchairs, sofas, outdoor tables, and lounge chairs; free parking area (unattended).
You can spend your time relaxing and enjoying leisure activities, but also savor delicious local specialties or take long walks through woods and along trails (a section of the historic and famous Via Francigena winds its way a short distance from the farmhouse and is within walking distance).
A car is recommended; you can rent one if you’re arriving by plane.
The cities of LUCCA (16 km away, about 22 minutes by car), PISA (28 km away, about 40 minutes by car), and FLORENCE (95 km away, about 1 hour and 22 minutes by car) are easily accessible.
Also by car, you can reach PIETRASANTA (21 km away, about 31 minutes by car), the art town known for its marble craftsmanship, TORRE DEL LAGO (20 km away, about 29 minutes by car), the famous town where Giacomo Puccini was born (and where you can book tickets for the opera during the summer months), Michelangelo’s MARBLE QUARRIES (46 km away, about 50 minutes by car), the GROTTA DEL VENTO (55 km away, about 1 hour and 10 minutes by car), the beaches and social scene of VIAREGGIO (17 km away, about 24 minutes by car) and the Versilia coast, or visit the ancient villages of the Garfagnana or explore the APUANI ALPS National Park (guided tours with expert environmental guides can be arranged upon request). The list doesn’t end there, and there’s no shortage of places for children: the Pinocchio Park in COLLODI (32 km away, about 44 minutes by car).
